Stafford hotel, Tillington Hall, scooped the award for large hotel of the year at the annual best of Best Western Great Britain hotels awards ceremony, which took place yesterday evening (28th January 2020).

The awards, in their 41st year, celebrated the largest collection of independent hotels in Great Britain at the brand’s Annual Members Conference in Sheraton Hotel Edinburgh, hosted by food and drink broadcaster Nigel Barden & Best Western Great Britain Chairman Tim Rumney.

Accolades were distributed for a variety of categories, ranging from fans’ favourites voted for by guests, to the property that made the biggest difference to their local communities.
Andrew Sanders said, “This award is the culmination of our team’s hard work and dedication. The large hotel of the year award is the biggest accolade of the evening and the one everyone wants, needless to say I am very proud of our team at Tillington Hall.”

“The customer journey is at the forefront of everything we do, we are innovators and true hoteliers who understand what a true hotel means to people. When the hotel was purchased six years’ ago our ambition was to be the leading hotel in the brand, we have achieved that this year and will strive to scoop as many awards as we can over the coming years. This award is for the team and we will use it to motivate us to build on our success,”
